Built by the Normans during the 12th Century and restored, due to the wishes of Federico II, between 1233 and 1240, the castle is a spectacular testimony to medieval construction. Today the castle is the headquarters of the Beni Ambientali Architettonici e Storici della Puglia and inside houses the Plaster Cast collection. |
