GUIDED TOURS AND CREATIVE WORKSHOPS

The educational activities of the exhibition are organized by experts from Associazione Didattica Museale ("Educational Museum Association"), which is responsible for instructive services at Milan’s Museum of Natural History. All visitors are offered in-depth interactive guided tours and creative hands-on workshops to understand the meaning of Darwin’s philosophy and let his passion for science carry them away.

Admission fee (not inclusive of exhibition ticket)
€ 50 school groups, Monday to Friday
€ 60 school groups, Saturday and Sunday
€ 100 groups (inclusive of compulsory audioguides)


Families

Monday to Friday: recreational/educational themed workshops from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., to learn how to observe nature through the eyes of a young and enthusiastic explorer (booking required).

Admission fee: € 10,00 per child (the visit to the exhibition is optional)

Sunday: guided tours with themed educational workshops, starting at 11 a.m. (booking required).

Children and teenagers who purchase a ticket to the Darwin 1809 | 2009 exhibition at the Rotonda di via Besana are entitled to a reduced ticket price to one or more educational tours on evolution at the Oasi di Sant’Alessio natural reserve (€ 8 instead of € 9). Oasi di Sant’Alessio ticket holders are entitled to a reduced price of € 1.50 for the audioguide at the Darwin 1809 | 2009 exhibition.
